The Marine Corps’ birthday followed by Veterans Day are on the 10th and 11th of November each year.  They are special holidays for all veterans and Marines.  Marines often think it is rather special for the country to give them the day off after their birthday parties to relax and rest before going on to their next objective. -:) This year I am traveling to Toronto and back and will celebrate this weekend!

If you go to website "www.LetsSayThanks.com", you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and mail it to one of our soldiers currently serving in Iraq. It only takes a second to send a thanks!

#1 outsourcers 2009-11-12 21:35 I too honor the veterans. In keeping with Veterans Day tradition, U.S. President Barack Obama today laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, saying, "While it is important and proper that we mark this day, it is far more important we spend all our days determined to keep the promises that we've made to all who answer this country's call."
